Server Software Installed

FirebirdSQL Database Server:

 

FirebirdSQL 64bit Database Server. Listens on Port 3050 for local traffic, uses ZeBeDee for non local and replication traffic.

Installed at C:\Program Files\Firebird\Firebird_2_5 (all servers)

ZeBeDee VPN:

ZeBeDee compression encryption VPN used for replication traffic between all servers (blue lines). Clients connect and redirect traffic on port 11965 which redirects to port 3050 at server end. NT services as listed:

FBReplicator:

FBReplicator NT Service application, timer triggered replication (5 minute interval) using ZeBeDee tunnel (see above)

SMSMessenger:

SMSMessenger NT Service application for automated responses (interaction) between contractors via attended.er, completed.ers email addresses and SMS gateway using 0427844300 (attended); 0427844400 (completed)

Control Panel Application (FBReplControlPanel.cpl) requires uses configuration file C:\Windows\metaMessenger.ini

Three accounts are held –

•        NSWDEPARTMENT004 (completed) - Mobile 0427844400 – email completed.ers@tjscsg.com.au ,

•        NSWDEPARTMENT005 (attended) – Mobile 0427844300 – email attended.ers@tjscsg.com.au, and

•        NSWDEPARTMENT006 (admin) – email alan@meta.com.au

All SMS messages to the above mobile numbers are passed through the gateway and retrieved by SMSMessenger. The messages are processed and acknowledge by return SMS. Contractors may also use email transport to affect the same conversation/notification or attendance on site and completion of work.

SMSMessenger also processes before and after photos on email addresses beforephotos.ers@tjscsg.com.au and afterphotos.ers@tjscsg.com.au

SMSMessenger acknowledgement receipt and updates the job status to receipt of photos. Attachments (photos) to the above emails remain in the email account for audit as required.

 

BRSService:

BRSService for scheduled database backups on cycle rotation. NT Service Application.

Installed on all servers: C:\Program Files (x86)\meta\BRSService

Configuration file: BRSService.ini in C:\WINDOWS\BRSService.ini

Backup directory: D:\meta\backups

The database on each server is scheduled for backup at 3am everyday. At any time there is one backup only on AD1 & SQL.TJS.LOCAL. There are 4 copies of the database as backups on SMM1. This provides with a recovery from issues over a long weekend.

 

IBLM Log Manager:

IBLM Log Manager logs all data changes for enquiry purposes. Databases are ‘prepared’ for logging and all tables are logged for the 3 operations of INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE. This operation produces a lot of data which should be retired annually.

 

Batch Commands running under ATScheduler:

FBReplicator and SMSMessenger services are stopped and re-started every night

A manual check for Jobs which have been created but not allocated, runs every 15 minutes. A nominated operator receives an SMS alert when required. This alert is sent using blat (see below)

The two tasks

Blat:

Blat is a 64bit command email tool used by the Unallocated Jobs Batch file.

Installed at c:\meta\batches\blat321\full

blat -install serveraddress sendfromaddress -u userID -pw password

Applications:

All applications, ERS, SMM and Cost Monitor have been deployed to the remote desktop server and to all desktops at Burbank.

Standard Document Directories are rooted at S:\

Email server for all applications are TJSCSG-SMM1 (192.168.5.3)

Company logos have been installed on all documents

Default email address ers@tjscsg.com.au and ersaccounts@tjscsg.com.au are installed
