Create a new sale by right clicking on the list of sales and selecting "New By-Product Sale" from the pop-up menu.

 

The cursor will be placed in the "Sold to" column on the left hand list. If the sale is to an existing (or previous) customer, tab out of this column so that the cursor is in the Sold To drop down box on the header panel. Typing the customer name will automatically search the database for the name being typed. As soon as a match is found, tab out of the drop down, and the customer's address is automatically filled into the address control. Save your edits.

 

If the sale is being made to a new customer type the customer name into the Sold To field on the left hand list field and save your edits straight away. You may now tab into the header panel to complete the address field.
