By-Product Sales provide for the sale of off-cut (waste) material and mitigates ultimate disposal costs.
By-Products Sales provides for the sale of m2 roughback material as well as m3 off-cut material.
Line items in the sale can be either m2 items or volume items. They can attract processing (cutting) costs on an individual invoice basis and can attract a single transportation cost for delivery.
Sales are generated and documented my operations and the accounts department are required to mark the sale as "Paid". This allows for operations to archive the invoice in a separate operation.
