The comments view displays item number, ID, dimensions, product type and item comments.

 

Item number is calculated by the system whenever the user adds a new line to the grid. A new line is added by pressing down arrow at the bottom of the grid. The item numbers can also be edited if a change of item sequence is desired after items are entered.

 

Item ID is an arbitrary identifier for each line item. Products listed in the product drop down are those that are listed as active in the Products listing.

 

The comments field is filled by the product full description. This comment can be edited or text can be added. If the field is edited to blank, it will be automatically filled with the product description again. This action will not, however, destroy any user-entered data.
