Application wide preferences are saved on each PC in registry. Settings saved in this way help to maintain the consistent use of the software between sessions. These settings are not saved in a central place like the database, rather they are saved separately on each PC. They may require adjustment on each PC to ensure they are the same e.g. report titles and the setting of logo bitmap.
The defaults tab is for developer reporting purposes and does not offer any user information.
