Rate Breakup Sheet

The Rate Breakup sheet offers a very sophisticated means of calculating a unit rate for a complex mix of labour material, sub-contract and plant requirements.

Like the quantity calc sheet when first created, the rate sheet inserts a line created from the rate above, if it exists.

Items which are ticked in the +/- column have their quantities included in the quantity basis for the unit rate. Items left unticked do not effect the basis quantity.

Multiple items can be added to the sheet. Each line item total is added to the sheet total and the rate is calculated from the back division of the sheet total by the basis quantity. This rate is the rate which is posted to the item list sheet as the item unit rate.

Use the calculator button adjacent to he basis quantity total to refresh the unit rate calculation.
