Once the site is selected, the cursor will be placed in the Caller field. The caller field background will match the colour set in the Application Preferences as the Edit Color. This colour can be changed by the user to his/her colour of choice.

Use the F2 function key or double click to open a caller selector which lists the callers registered for the selected site.

Navigate to the desired caller and press Enter or double click to insert that caller's details into the job sheet. The contact number for that caller will also be inserted.

Details in the caller selector can be edited on-the-fly if required. Changes at this time are permanently saved for future calls.

The caller details can also be manually edited in the Job sheet after they are inserted. This may offer the opportunity to assign one-off changes for a particular job which may not apply to future contact with that caller.

Editing details in the caller selector is as simple as navigating to the cell in question and over-typing the entry.

The size and position of the caller selector pop-up window can be changed for personal preference. Size and position changes are remembered between sessions.

Callers in the caller selector are sorted by surname. Since the fields in this grid are directly editable, navigating to a user's surname is not possible by typing the first letter of the surname.

The Escape key will close the caller selector window without entering a caller in the job sheet. The cursor is returned to the Caller field for manual editing.

Once selected from the selector, the cursor is returned to the caller field. Use the Tab or down arrow key to navigate to the next field (caller phone number).
